Victimization can take many different forms. We can experience satanic victimization which includes spiritual oppression and possession. We can experience victimization as a result of secular philosophies, principles, pressures and practices. And finally, we can experience victimization at the hands of our self as a result of fleshly strongholds and deceptive hearts. Before one can process the path of personal victory and liberate oneself from satanic, secular and self victimization, it is absolutely essential that you have personally possessed, processed, and practiced the Power of God. What does scripture say about the Power of God?

You sensed a few slight but not significant symptoms of what you believed to be the beginning of a cold.
Read MoreHave you ever been in a place where you believed that you had not seen God move in your life recently? Is it possible the reason you believed that to be true is due to your preoccupation with the problems you experienced including relational, financial, professional, social and physical issues? Sometimes the experience of failure and unfulfilled expectations causes us to cry out: “God, where are you?”
Read MoreBy way of introduction for this week’s blog offering I offer to you idiomatic expressions. Idiomatic expressions are a type of informal English that have a meaning different from the meaning of the words in the expression. For example consider the following:
“All roads lead to Rome”: An expression meaning that many methods will lead to the same result
“One for the road”: A euphemism to refer to a final alcoholic drink consumed before departing
“Kick the can down the road”: To put off a decision or action, with the idea that the decision or action is being pushed farther along the way but will be encountered again as one continues
“Let’s get this show on the road”: An exhortation to begin something promptly
Read MoreWhen we examine the eternal Word of God you will discover that the phrase “secret place” can be identified as a physical location. For instance, in Psalm 37:7 the Word of God declares, “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.” (KJV) However, the phrase "secret place" is also a reference to the way our soul is in sync to a rich and real relationship with God. Consider what we read in Psalms 27:5: “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” (KJV) Did you notice the personal pronouns? God prioritizes our relationship with Him. He will personally take action to procure our protection in His pavilion and establish us in a position of security and stability by placing us on His rock. These verses along with our opening text point to the significance of a secret place.

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” 2 Timothy 3:1-4 (KJV)
Question, have you ever explored what makes super preaching? Well, I submit to you that we should start with scrutinizing the subject and the source of the sermon as our text undeniably underscores the qualifications of super preaching. First, the subject. You see, I am totally convinced that the Word of God is the only answer for the sin-sick soul. The incarnation and the personification of the Word of God (Jesus Christ) can completely address life’s issues. It takes the power of heaven to heal the human condition. Second, our text identifies the source as supernatural as opposed to natural.

Read MoreIn today’s society there are many false gospels being presented from the pulpit. These include positions such as the social gospel or prosperity gospel. One of these many false gospels that is pervasive in today’s pulpits is the “God is Love Only” gospel. The focus forwarded by this false gospel underscores the “unconditional love” of God, the “infinite grace” of God, and God’s willingness to always forgive. Their deceptive and devilish discourse drastically diminishes the holiness, righteousness, wrath, and judgment of God.
